Owen’s Leukemia – Day 47

It was pretty uneventful around here today, which is always a good thing.  As of today, Owen only had one band-aid left on his body.  It was located over his port from where he was accessed when he was in the hospital at the beginning of the week.  It is the only one we didn’t stress about getting off because we thought it would eventually just fall off.  Tonight, the boys were getting a bath, and we were trying to pour some water over the band-aid to loosen it up (of course Owen was not liking us messing with it), but then he kinda forgot about it.  Next thing we know, Logan reached up and pulled it right off!  I was laughing which of course made Logan laugh, then Owen started laughing too.  He said it wasn’t that bad.  Oh, how I wish they were all that easy to get off
